Volunteers Needed for Boston Tea Party Reenactment

January 1, 2019

A staple feature of Boston’s seaport district is the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. People travel from all over to view this historical replica perched up in the water. Whether you are a tourist or a townie, you know that the Boston Tea Party was a very important historical moment, which is why so many people come to the museum! People to this day are in awe at the remarkable efforts of the patriots that helped bring us where we are as a nation.

The museum utilizes our canopies, awnings, and fabrics to help their guests have a wonderful visit no matter the weather, and we have an announcement to share about the museum and how you can help them this holiday season.

To remind us of the efforts those patriots put forth to make our country what it is today, the museum hosts a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party, which was a major statement in the Revolutionary War.

In order for the reenactment to happen, the museum needs your help! Volunteers of all ages have been requested to throw some tea, share some laughs, and reminisce on the history that surrounds our city of Boston.

The reenactment is scheduled to take place Dec. 16 at the museum, and will be a great time for you, your friends, and your loved ones. For more information, reach out to Daniel O’Neil (contact information below), the site manager of the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum.

About

The Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum has been a loyal client of Dorchester Awning for years. We provide canopies and awnings to the museum so that visitors can enjoy the museum and the history without worrying about the weather.   We fully support this event and hope that many will volunteer to help the museum recreate one of the greatest acts of the Revolutionary War.
